PRAYER FOR PRISONERS
* The power of prayer can change a persons heart and life. God works through the prayers of His people. Mountains are moved, hearts are changed and people are saved. Please consider becoming a prayer missionary to prisoners. Each prisoner needs someone praying for him/her.
* God instructed us in Hebrews to remember those in prison as though we are their fellow inmates. When you complete the mission application and begin to receive specific prayer requests from prisoners your heart will be moved. Most prayer requests are very unselfish. They ask for prayer for their families, officers, chaplains and friends. Each prisoner is assigned their own prayer warrior. Every time a request comes from a prisoner, it is forwarded to the volunteer they are assigned to. All prayer requests are read before being forwarded to the volunteers.
CORRESPONDENCE
* Disciple and Evangelize by Correspondence
Only about 10% of incarcerated individuals receive mail or visits. Therefore, what little mail they receive has great value. Prisoners often live for mail call and seldom hear their names called. They are starved for mail and a word of hope from outside. You can make a difference in a prisoner’s life and eternity by being a correspondence missionary. Some volunteers correspond with as many as 20 prisoners or more and are often more blessed than the men and women they are writing to. It is perfectly safe provided you follow the PWFP guidelines. The prisoner never knows more than your first name or where you live.

PRISON WORSHIP SERVICES
* PWFP holds worship services inside prison facilities to inform the prisoners of prayer available through the volunteers. The services are also to take the message of hope through Jesus Christ to the prisoners. Opportunities for volunteers at these services include bringing worship music, special music, a message and just participating in praising the Lord with the inmates. There is also time of prayer for the inmates. You must be a PWFP mission volunteer to participate in these programs. Button here to go to Mission application
FINANCIAL SUPPORT

* Stamps are always needed. Books or rolls of stamps help get prisoners’ prayer requests and letters to volunteers.
* Operating expenses
* PWFP is a 501c3 non profit ministry
